What types of file can I upload to SteekR?

Any type of file can be stored in your SteekR space, but we don’t suggest using it to store operating system or program files. If you’ve uploaded media files like photos, videos or music you can view, watch or play these using the SteekR player.

Can I upload more than one file at the same time?

Yes, you can drag and drop multiple files or a whole folder in the “Drag-and-drop” box of SteekR to upload multiple files at the same time.

The “Drop and drag” box disappeared! Why?

There are a few possible situations that prevent “Drop and drag” box from working:

You cannot upload files cdirectly at the root of your SteekR space. Navigate to any of the default sub-folders, or create a new folder and open it.

You may have disabled Java features in your browser. Please visit this page for help on enabling the Java plug-in on your browser http://www.java.com/en/download/help/5000020500.xml

If you cannot bring back the “drop files here” upload box, please try uploading with the classic web UI.
